I make no secret of the fact that my favorite color is anything on the spectrum between blue and green. So what better nail art to do than the mineral embodiment of my favorite color, turquoise?
Warning: Image heavy! I put most of it under a cut, but I liked this design so much that I took a ton of pictures of it.
I got really cute fingerless gloves that are great for showcasing nail art in, and I couldn't resist snapping a few pictures in them. The grey complements the teal very well! I'll post a better shot of the gloves in my next Interview Nails post, which happened chronologically earlier but I'm holding off posting it for now for reasons.
I used the water spotting technique to get this design, first with gold and then with black. I might have gone a little heavier on the black than I should have, but I still really love the results.
Polishes used:
Ga-de Mint Green
Ga-de Gold Glamour
Dalia 43 (black)
its beautiful. looks just like the stone.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I admit, I wasn't the first one to come up with this idea, although I did figure it out independently. If you look on google images there are a lot of other bloggers who have done this :D
